98. You are not alone

I am considerably older and live by myself. I have had take a job clear across town to make just under $15,000 a year, no health insurance, and no new job prospects on the horizon. Many additional things going on that are not good, but you get the idea.

I am tired and I am angry. I am tired of the day to day struggle and constant worry. I am angry that so many of us are struggling for just the basics while those in power look for ways to strip us of the remaining scraps left. Hope, health, and dignity included among them.

You are still young enough and you are taking positive steps to better your life. Hang in there. It sounds like relatively soon, things will get better for you. I hope MUCH better!

In the meantime, there have been some very good suggestions in this thread which I know you and others will benefit from.
