It was the first time in my 30-odd year life I didn't have Thanksgiving with family. Mom had to go from Kansas to Oregon to help out her sister with something, and the rest of the family decided to scatter so I went to St. Louis to visit a high school friend, and we went to a local restaurant famous for their all-you-can-eat Thanksgiving dinners, had two plates each, and then the next day flew to Florida to meet up with a third friend so they could go to Epcot Center/Disney World while I auditioned for Cirque du Soleil. Didn't get in, but I was able to write part of it off on my taxes.

Actually the last time was in New York about ten years ago at Sardis. It was disgusting. Cranky
