made with Jello-brand lemon pudding and pie filling - the kind that has to be cooked on the stove before putting it in the pie.
And the meringue can't be any taller than the filling! That's my usual choice for a birthday "cake".

My dad used to say there were only two kinds of pie. Hand pie or saucer pie.
