13. I saw King Crimson at Merriweather Post Pavillion in Columbia, MD. Great concert.

Despite knowing most of their work, they did a lot that I wasn't familiar with - including a half-hour improvisation session. I saw a lot of concerts there. That's when tickets were about $8. I saw the Simon and Garfunkel reunion tour (83?) at Laurel race track and was astonished that they were charging $17 for a ticket. It was well worth it. I actually met Phil Collins in '82, but the reason for the encounter isn't my favorite subject. I got a hug from him.
