96. My roommates

My male roommate believes that he's not fed enough and will go dumpster diving in the kitchen trash can for human food. A few years ago, I placed a couple of bricks in the trash can to keep him from knocking it over. The bricks worked and kept him from knocking over the kitchen trash. Now, he's so desperate, he stands up and leans over the kitchen trash can and removes scraps of food with his front claws and paws. Every year, we are fat-shamed at the veterinarians at yearly check-ups.


My female roommate has a strict no-touching rule. The only acceptable place for any petting is only done at the food dish. As I crawl into bed and get all comfy, she jumps up on my side of the bed and walks across my feet to get to her side of the bed. I have to stifle my laughter because she always breaks her own no-touching rule when getting into bed.
