16. If you want to be buried another thing you can do is buy a pre-owned plot

When my MIL died we wanted to bury her next to her family but the cemetery didn't have anything close. It turns out a lot of people pre-buy plots and then don't use them. We found an individual seller who sold us a plot next to her family for about 1/3rd the price of what the cemetery was asking.
