I have 2 large donation boxes on the enclosed front porch, almost filled. Tonight, I went through all my make-up and tossed out all the old stuff. I have no idea why I hung onto so much of that old crap. Then, I went through all my linens. My mom gave me all her old tablecloths and I don't like them---into the donation box they went. She also gave me ugly placemats, also gone into the donation box. Next, I'll be going through all the clothing. I'm in a purging mood. and it feels good to purge.

I have a very cluttered art studio, have already purged a lot, gave to my grandson's friends who are artists, and a daughter-in-law got a bunch of stuff. The other daughter-in-law got my collection of antique buttons I'd been given over 40 yrs. and she's thrilled to have them. There isn't anything I've gotten rid of that I've regretted.

Next, I found a big bag of marbles that I bought a long time ago, to give to the grandkids, had plans to sew them bags to keep them in, so that will be my next project. Finding the rules for games and printing those into little booklets for them. I loved marbles when I was a kid.

Hubby took all the old VHS tapes and converted them all to DVD.
