(14,275 posts)23. Yes, yes, yes! I am 74 and usually get 2 respiratoy infections each year -
one in the fall and one in the late winter/early spring. I have not been sick at all in the last 10 months. I broke my pelvis last fall and was pretty much out of commission until just before the shut down. I've been staying pretty close to home and wearing a mask since February.

It only takes one exposure and wearing a mask to avoid one is worth it to me.

Wow, five colds a year. Now that I do not have kids, I get one every two or three years.

I have four really fun masks. I love my masks. I do not mind it at all. I am never wearing them

Yes-- hand washing is something that I do all the time now-- not as much before.
