(34,213 posts)My two favorite villains who I truly despise but respect how well they manipulated people in a game. I hate them so much I really don't want to publicly give them credit.

Jeff Probst was correct that Fairplay set-up and told the greatest lie in Survivor history (even nearly a decade later), but Fairplay was also wicked good at breaking up alliances by peeling off the weakest link and changing their votes. No one lied or manipulated weak players better than Fairplay.

Russell's ability to find hidden idols was fantastic, but his vile and nasty approach of voting off anyone who started to question him was truly amazing. It worked to intimidate several groups of people in different seasons. Russell's treatment of his nephew, however, was really repulsive. I'd like to believe it was a part of his tv persona, but the impact on the nephew was real.
I would shake the hands of these men, but damn they were good at being evil.
