4. A sad thing to lose one's mom. My sympathy to you.

My year pretty much sucked. Back in February I got pneumonia and spent two weeks in the hospital. Not fun and a very slow recovery since I already have both asthma and COPD. And yes, I did have the pneumonia shots. I haven't been with my kids since March because of isolating and their respective positions although we keep in constant by phone and computer but I desperately need a hug. Then in September they discoivered I had a cancerous growth on my kidney. So they had to remove the damn kidney. I am still feeling some of the effects of that. Then In October my best friend died. We had been friends since high school, that is almost seventy years ago. He was a great friend and it is a huge loss. I miss him greatly.
I will certainly be glad to see the new year come and hopefully a better time for all of us with trump gone and a decent and intelligent man, Joe Biden, in the White House.
