6. I've always been a liberal at heart.

I come from a family of un-reconstructed Kennedy liberals. My mother even marched in JFK's inaugural parade. (She was attending Southwest Texas State, LBJ's alma mater, at the time...).

But I did the "no, man, I'm a moderate" thing for a while, too. Election 2000 made me embrace my inner liberal, and I haven't looked back.
