it's been a long and sometimes scary three weeks, but they've got lines laid around the whole fire. most of the evacuations are lifted, but now comes the rebuilding.

still absurdly hot, but we've had some higher humidity and much calmer winds, but things change quickly here.

thank you to all the kind duers who supported us over the last three weeks, my thoughts continue to go out to the people down in colorado springs and all over the region who are still battling flames.

and it can't be said enough, i am beyond grateful for all the firefighters and others, paid and volunteer, who helped keep us safe.



edit to add: i'm referring to the high park fire in northern colorado.
