I never thought about him as a host of Jeopardy until the OP, but he would be a brilliant choice. I'd watch him. I signed the petition for him.

You never know how something like this would simply make so much sense. LeVar Burton... Give him the next 30 years as the Jeopardy host. It simply makes sense for some reason. My wife and I love, love, loved Alex Trebeck, but LeVar Burton would honor him. He's a great personality. Humble, soft spoken, intelligent, smart, funny. It's a no-brainer.
