soft shell lobster....are they a good thing?? [View all]

Haven't heard about it here being offered on our menus.....but it sounds like it's the best thing since sliced bread....no hard shells to crack. Don't think it's a good thing, sounds like the lobster's are very vulnerable at this stage and easy to catch....... anyone else???
