I fucking HATE meat kotexes. you know, those gross pads they use to absorb excess juices from packaged fresh retail meat. they are gross on principle, they mean the meat is full of water, in warm weather they make your trash stink big time. then they attract skunks and dogs. I HATE them.
I have a big stray we rescued a few years ago who has a bit of a trash addiction anyway. he also has a chronic health problem that already involves a lot of puking. (look up megaesophagus). he had a bad week starting on the 5th and I had just been getting food to stay down him on Thursday. Last night he got a bungied lid off the trash and ate a huge kotex out of a family pack of chicken breasts. 
I see some of it came back up in the driveway, but it is the fucking thin plastic that is part of their structure that pisses me off the most! that has real obstruction potential. fucking fuckety fuck fuck.
at least he already has a vet appointment for tomorrow. I was hoping to be able to say he seemed to be getting back on his feet after last week, but who knows how he will be doing today.
