4. I still have bruising after nearly losing a foot 18 months ago

Fell down some stairs and my right foot got caught underneath me. It had to be reattached on one side. The surgeon put in a metal plate to hold it together. It's still bruised there and up my shin. Podiatrist said it might not go away entirely, but it's lighter in color than it was.

Arnica gel is usually great for bruises, but it didn't help with the foot and shin.
