I went to the emergency room and the x-rays showed no breakage but very thin bones. They put me in a boot, which I could not wear all the time and prescribed 3-4 pills of Naproxen. It took about a month to get better---but, six months later I developed a lump on the bottom of my foot that looked like a boil (it was soft) but didn't hurt unless I irritated the lump. Dr. said, don't lance it or cut it out because these things happen after injuries and the lumps often grow back. They gave me some shoe inserts that allowed for the lump and it's better. It's now disappearing after 18 months. Lots of small bones in the feet. I feel for you.
