Have you been checked by a doctor for a possible balance problem?

I was diagnosed last year with vestibular neuropathy - some kind of nerve issue in my right inner ear. It makes me trip and fall more often than is normal. It's not that common. I've had it for years and just thought I was a natural klutz. There's not much I can do about it.

There are other things that can cause balance problems like benign positional vertigo, which is what they initially thought I had. This can often be treated with something called the Epley Maneuver.

There are also physical therapy methods to improve balance. I should do this but haven't because of Covid.

The podiatrist I've been seeing for the ankle fracture had me get orthotics and start wearing more supportive sneakers to help prevent future falls.

I use arnica tablets too - they are great for headaches and back pains. But look into the stuff you apply externally. CVS sells liquid arnica in a roller ball container that you roll onto the painful areas. It's not as messy as the gels and creams.

So sorry you had to miss a Springsteen concert. Back in the early 1970s I saw him perform at Rutgers U. before he became well known. Admission was 75 cents!
