14. I got an email from them a couple of years ago.

It appears to be a startup trying to eventually make money. Some of it hasn't been working so well. I have heard of some "neighborhoods" turning racist. Also, there is this story from Buzzfeed: https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/nicolenguyen/nextdoor-scams

I ignored it. We already know lots of our neighbors, and my wife knows everyone in city government.
