In reply to the discussion: Raise your hands if you are alone this New Years Eve. DU give us some New Year love. [View all]Ziggysmom
(4,139 posts)43. Raises hand. Alone this year, hubby in hospital since Christmas. He was in ICU on a ventilator
for 4 days, he suffered seizures & stopped breathing after contracting pneumonia (not Covid). He's awake and off the vent now; I stayed visiting with him as long as I could tonite. His speech and thinking are slowed due to the hypoxia & seizures, but I'm thankful he is alive. Thankful he was able to get treatment and an ICU bed here in SE Wisconsin.
Happy New Year to all of DU. Extra Cheers to all us loners.
