He and Feller were signing autographs. Teds was $25 on a museum provided photo it was a fund raiser for the museum. They announced he wouldnt sign balls, but I had my copy of the Science of Hitting, and wanted him to sign the famous strike zone full of balls picture in the middle.
They tried to take it away from me before I went into the room, but I persisted. He agreed to sign it, and I tried to flatten it out for him. He tried a couple of times, looked up and said, Ill sign if you let go of it, DEAR! Bear in mind that I am a very large man. 🤣
