(23,298 posts)I had a season program cover my Dad had kept, and a Life magazine with an ad in it featuring him. He was having a pretty routine day till he saw our items. The program wasn't dated, so he looked at it for awhile and thought it might be around 1938, because the field had lights for evening games. When he saw the ad, he said, "I'll be damned. I bought a car like that for my mother." I think we sold the cover on eBay, but probably still have the magazine, somewhere :/
I have a brick from the old Cleveland Stadium, and 2 Indians shirts, and maybe a hat.
It is refreshing to see signs like that. Several people in town display signs with positive messages. I think there are more good people than bad. The nasties are the ones we hear about. Thanks for sharing!
