My brother pitched in the sandlots also. Our paternal grandfather used to take my father to League Park when he was just a lad. My father sat next to Early Wynn in a bar and he gave my father an autographed baseball. I have no idea whatever happened to it, but my brother was thrilled. I spent many a childhood summer at Municipal Stadium.
