(23,727 posts)52. Lots of rearview mirrors have a day/night switch
either at the very bottom or on the backside of mirror, switching to night mode lessens the impact
of tailgaters headlights. Owner's manual should show this information.

Nope. LED lights. I've seen reports that affirm what you are saying. I agree with you

Agree with this, plus why do so many people have headlights on in broad daylight? Seems ridiculous.

Yep, I hate them. I have mild cataracts and it is almost painful with those lights

I flip my rear view mirror down when an aggressive, too bright, tailgater follows me.
