was asking if anyone had one that survived the night as I always suspected that they were too young and frail to be given away. I didn't want it then, but once my parent told me to take it. I did. And, as an abused child, I took it and loved it. I am not dumb, It was wrong to give them away. I never took another, never wanted another. It was a tradition at the time to give them away and it was wrong for both the animal and the six year old child. It was heartless, mean and cruel. In that respect, I don't understand your post and the reasoning to place it here if you really read my opening post.
