... but I like to work and a little extra cash would be nice. It's not that people don't want to work, it's that we don't have to because there's plenty of full time jobs. The people who need workers, need them for the reason they once challenged us by saying, "don't make enough? Get a better job". And people did.
The companies that want part time labor want people available 48 hrs a week for very short wages. It's hard to find an employer that wants an older employee. Or will treat us right.
