11. IIRC, I believe the glove was meant to symbolize the king as an advocate for the people

If I remember correctly. I caught part of the ceremony. And "when Charles III is crowned King of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth on May 6 he will reuse his grandfather George VI’s coronation glove to symbolize his commitment to sustainability." He apparently thought it would be a waste to make a new glove just for him. He's an environmental advocate.
