I'll just say no matter what you give him, it would mean a lot to acknowledge those lost years of high school during the covid lockdowns.
Those were special developmental years, lost - teenage brains aged 4 years (not matured - aged - as in, lost plasticity/potential). We've whitewashed over their sacrifice but now you have a chance to show someone you care about it.
