Which is why the Kratt brothers chose that species for theit preschool-aimed series.

In fact, all lemurs are so cute that now that we know them, it's hard to believe how they got their name - Roman solders in Managascar didn't see them, but could only hear their cries in the night - which sounded to the Romans like angry ghosts - "lemures."
