Are there certain actors that you refuse to see in any movie?

95. I find myself liking some movies in spite of Tom Cruise

For me he's not a box office draw and I don't like his acting. But I think some of his films are good in spite of him. Adam Sandler is occasionally amusing but most of his films are dull and would be dull with anyone in the starring role (the main problem is the choice of material). I like Nicole Kidman or at least I don't find her a reason not to watch one of the films in which she appears. John Travolta and Van Damme are almost in the category of people I will not watch but I would probably watch at least once. Among old timers, Doris Day is someone whose films I watch because they can be good (The Man who Knew Too Much) but if I had a choice I'd prefer someone else in the role because her personality is absolutely repellent to me.

But I think the only one I intentionally avoid is Angelina Jolie. She's a fine actress and chooses good material in which to appear. There's just something about her personality that very much gets on my nerves like no one else and I don't know why.
