9. I wonder whether estrogen mediates stress.

After menopause, we still have estrogen stored in our fatty tissues but, eventually, that gets used up. I'm at that point, and I've noticed that I have more trouble handling stress now. I tend to needlessly add things to my plate, so to speak--things that never would have upset me, several years ago.
