... living in France (I THINK it was the first half of the 20th century) and it seemed
REALLY unpleasant (nausea, dizziness, blurry, woozy).

It reminded me very much of accounts I have read of huffing some aerosols -- both
accounts made me wonder why anyone would go for that -- let alone more than
once.

I tried almost everything I encountered "growing up", but absinthe is probably one of
the few things that I would have turned down if I had ever had the opportunity to
experience it.
