Well, I fractured my femur through and now have a steel rod in my leg. [View all]

Damn!

Visit # 1 to hospital for sore R knee. ER doc did X-rays an left me in the hallway got me a pain RX. Discharged me home w/o seeing if the brace fitted and w/o checking if I could securely walk. I fell going up concrete and brick stairs going into house. Leg twisted one way and full leg immobilizer the other way and I felt the biggest snap and intolerable pain

Visit # 2 to the ER was via ambulance for admission to an ortho floor. Out of surgery 5 hours now.

So how was your day after Thanksgiving?
