3. I was stopped

midway through the "Rodeo Song" at a bar called Mugs and Jugs in St Pete, Florida in the mid 90's. I asked what was wrong and the DJ told me, and I quote "You can't sing that song, this is a family bar". I thought he was joking until I peered through the smoky haze and saw a couple of strollers and even elementary school age children running around. This was pretty late and in the middle of the week.
