MiHale's message really jumped off the page for me.

Fifty-three years ago today, I met a young man on the beach in Puerto Vallarta. I spoke no Spanish, and he could speak only a few words in English.

We'll be married 53 years in July. We were married in Mexico City July 1, 1971 (7171). I believe we have also been in love with each other for longer. How else could we have love at first sight and connect without speaking the same language? We're sure that we were together long before 1970.

So big congratulations to the many DUers who have been married for 30, 40, 50 years and more. Thank you MiHale and many others who share their love stories.

P.S. His English is excellent, but my Spanish still sucks.
