(3,139 posts)person has doused on you for being poor. You have no idea how many of us are more than familiar with what it is like to be poor. And all of these other people, myself included, worked to help ourselves climb out of that. I never had instacart, I consumed ramon noodles by the truckload to get through the tough times. Being self-sustaining is not a task, it is a lifelong project that must be aquired through desire, and then maintained. But it requires the person to actually do something.
Employment is the answer, but for at least 2 years that I know of, you haven't gotten a job in one of the most job rich economies in recent history. Even fast food jobs are paying up to 15 bucks an hour. And based on everything you have told us yourself, you are more than capable of getting a job if you wanted one. The disabled line isn't a good reason. I work with handicapped and disabled people through church outreach, some who are even completely blind, and almost all but the elderly ones have a job because they want to earn for themselves. Hell, I'm almost deaf myself and it doesn't slow me down one bit. There are TONS of employers who will actually put your application on top if you have a disability and they can place you. But you have to actually have a disability for that.
You are capable of talking on the phone, constructing proper sentences and paragraphs, you have the agility to operate an ipad and play games, you have the intellect to manage a gofundme campaign and transfer money back and forth, you are smert enough to setup an amazon account and configure an alexa device, I could go on but there is no need. You have everything required in order to find gainful employment, and at this point, that is what you need to do.
