(35,062 posts)142. Yes. People looked at his art as an investment. When he started, he was more a modernist painter and was told to switch
to switch to that people would want in there homes. He did. He had factories where he made one three branch and it was sold as a Kincade painting. Whole sweat shops were painting "Kincade" paintings. The end was near when he got very drunk at Disney and peed on a statue of Winnie the Pooh. QVC dropped him. Soon after he died. Warning to us all , do what makes you happy instead of what makes you tons of money. TY for bringing that point up.
