In reply to the discussion: need advice - car accident [View all]davsand
(13,446 posts)38. Here is my suggestion for the sequence of the day:
1. Call for Doctor appointment as soon as you can get in.
2. Call an attorney that specializes in Personal Injury cases and get in there ASAP. Ask them how to proceed with the insurance stuff, and do exactly what they tell you. Do not take any legal advice from the internet as being good advice--including from here at DU.
Hire a lawyer in person--and do not talk to anybody else about this stuff unless your attorney tells you it is ok to do it. Seriously, posting in an open forum about any potential legal case is a really bad idea for a lot of reasons.
No, I'm not a lawyer, but I do have a profound respect for what they can do for you if you need them--and I think you guys need one.

Actually I like Flo. The woman who plays her is a rather successful comedienne.

Why would we be hit with any claims from the accident, as it was clearly the drunk ass's fault
