31. Leaving the TV on so I would hear voices helped me get some sleep after my husband died.

Seven years later, audio books on my tablet help. And gummies help too, when too many sleepless nights get strung together.

Be most kind to yourself, and maybe expect your memory to fail during the day from time to time. Prepare for it, leave an extra set of keys with a reliable neighbor if you have one. It's amazing how many items might get misplaced.

Please, please take care and do what you can to prevent any mishaps. You have many here who care deeply. Count on them when you need to be braced. Know many feel for you, REALLY feel for what you are dealing with. And stock up on boxes of tissues. Let it out, but find small joys when you can. It will get better.

Enjoy. I make my own edibles. I usually sleep about 7 1/2 hours a night. n/t brewens May 11 #1
