85. Call a lawyer.

Let them handle it. I worked in the rental car business for about 3 years and have heard this story many times. The best way to get things solved is to contact a lawyer and they will take care of it. They may tell you to contact your insurance as well because they have lawyers who will go after them if their insurance is not valid.

That sucks so bad. I heard it all the time in my previous life. It will get better.
