They used N-304 stainless steel. That grade of stainless has issues with how it handles chlorides. Like salt spray for those on the coasts, road salt for those with real winter-style weather.
It removes the chromium oxide coating, leaches chromium & nickel out of the crystal structure, and exposes the iron to air.
The ionic metathesis cause formation of copper chloride (purple), nickel chloride (green), & the oxidized iron turns red.
These bodies are going to discolor, and I don't mean in 15 years.
They should have gone with 400 series, as is used in flatware.
