4. Well, I like arachnids - spiders mostly. The black flies in NH were the worst.

I also like crustaceans, but they don't tend to cause you to balloon up with poison (perhaps because they can't). I've known people who kept scorpions as pets. I don't understand why, but then again I raised a boa from 20" to almost 5' and we've got a huge tank full of hermit crabs (they've got a lot of weird body parts on the shell end). To each his own.

Did you know that tarantulas aren't as dangerous by their bite as they are by their hairs? They fling the hairs out in self-defense and if you get one in your eye (they have barbs) you're REALLY fucked. This coming from a guy who pets spiders. I'm serious, I do. They get to know me and seem to like it. Unfortunately, they die off each season so I have to train an entirely new generation each year.
