They eat more nasties than you can possibly imagine. I yell at the cats for trying to catch them. I pet spiders. The really tiny ones (like 1/4mm diameter) always seem to find my hat. I make sure they get a safe place. They walk on me, interact with me, and like strokings (if they're big enough). They also like beer, so they can't be ALL bad.
