book came out when I was an adult. So I had no idea that other kids feared under the bed.

Thank you Ocelot II yes our basement was creepy. too. No switches for lights you had to go down and turn the lightbulb.

Permanut. thank you. I was always afraid of the bats. Our bedroom had the attic door in it.

For me it was the stairs (behind a door) from the upstairs hall to the unfinished attic.

There was an attic that was sort of forbidden to us and I had to walk by it to get to y bedroom.

That does sound very scarey. I had the attic door right next to my bed. Once I jumped on , I like you, stayed on.

Yes , all snakes. I kid down the the street a few years ago raised exotic snakes. When he left, he left the snakes free.
