In reply to the discussion: My Husband just tested positive for COVID,,,, [View all]TBF
(37,293 posts)39. My husband and daughter got it first -
mild cases. I didn't get it until fall 2022 (had to travel due to death in family).
I am immune suppressed due to meds, so I had an infusion and started on Paxlovid. I had already had vaccines by then as well. I think all of those helped, but also inhaler and codeine cough syrup were key. Coughing was my worst symptom. I did stay positive for about 3 weeks, even when feeling a lot better.

Sorry to hear that. Paxlovid taken early on really helped lessen my symptoms. Dr called in an RX when I called.

Not whining. It is legitimate fear/ concern to get sick with covid period. Best wishes for all to get through it.

Good luck. If it helps, I keep reading that a mouthwash containing CPC and saline nasal spray helps get it over
