The situation seems dire. But this is the " shock & awe" stage.. more performative than real.
The people in the actual line of fire are people with .gov paychecks...
Especially retirees...
Especially survivor annuitants .. the posterkids of "useless eaters."
(unfortunately, that would be me)

(Where can I get a DU app? I am physically much more able on my tablets & phones)
