The problem is I can never designate enough garden space for it. My herb garden is all in containers because I have to move it around to account for the Texas summer heat. So I've been dedicating my space to other herbs and buying basil at the store. It's not as good, but I can't live without pesto and I also use fresh basil in other things.

Well with freshly harvested basil, it really can't be beat. Grocery store stuff? Meh.

Our own basil and walnuts, with extra virgin olive oil and freshly ground parmesan of course.
