Question: We use to be able to see the last ten comments posted. Now, [View all]

My threads have that marker next to all the posts and unless looking at time, I cannot see the most recent ten replies. Can I do something in system other then the 5 last highlight? Has this option changed? Am I even clear cause hard to explain.
