5. We moved to Rancho Mirage from North Hollywood in late June 2023. We are very happy with our new lives here in the

desert. We just find everything to be so much easier than Los Angeles.....less traffic even in Snowbird season, easy to park everywhere, great healthcare. We are so much more social here. I think friends in Los Angeles don't get together very often due to traffic and just being worn out from living in L.A. Here we get together with friends at least every week.

Only a few downsides that we've found here:

1. No good Chinese food
2. No good pizza
3. Entertainment is somewhat lacking compared to L.A. The touring shows that come to the McCallum are not the same caliber as those that go to the Ahmanson or Pantages theaters in L.A. However, a lot of interesting acts come to the local casinos. We got to see Brit Floyd last June and it was awesome.

It's also just so beautiful here. When my sister visited from NJ last May she said this was the most beautiful place she had ever been to.
