9. It's really not that bad in the summer. You just don't spend much time outside in the afternoon.

We compare it to living on the east coast during winter. They don't spend much time outside during the winter and we don't spend much time outside during summer, but unlike the east coast, our night times here in the summer are really nice and you can spend time outside floating in the pool. But I will admit when we first moved here and the 10 day forecast was for every day to be sunny and the high to be 114 or above, it was a little daunting. But thankfully our house has 3 commercial strength A/C units so we stay very comfortable inside!
